Refreshing Pitcher Margaritas are a favorite cocktails that we often make for friends and family. We enjoy making cocktails in a big batch so we can just pour them from a pitcher instead of having to make each one individually in a cocktail shaker. Since we are big fans, we enjoy margaritas year round as our “beverage” of choice.īecause on-the-rocks margaritas don’t involve a blender, they mix together quickly in a pitcher – I love that! This makes it super easy for serving my guests. Pour the classic margarita recipe over the ice, then garnish with a lime wedge or a lime wheel.Fresh ingredients make the best margaritas – skinny or not. Once the glasses have been prepared, fill them with ice. Measure some salt into a small plate and gently place the lime juice-coated glass in it. ![]() Take a wedge of the lime and gently run it along the rim of the glass you intend to drink your classic margarita from. This recipe serves a crowd, and you can easily do the math to serve a larger group of people. Stir vigorously until all the ingredients are cold and combined. Measure the lime juice into a container or a large pitcher with the tequila, triple sec, agave syrup and a pinch of salt and some ice. When you use a squeezer, you get most of the juices out, but if you are too rough in this process, you can also get some extra bitterness squeezed into your juice. Juice the limes! You’re going to need several of them to get the amount of fresh lime juice we need.Ī note on juicing limes: When you juice limes, you’re also getting some delicious limey oils from its skin released into the juice.
